Scope

As a Production Designer for the Ray-Ban x Meta Smart Glasses Super Bowl 2025 commercial, my role was to craft a visual narrative that seamlessly blended high-fashion aesthetics with cutting-edge tech, all while supporting the ad’s comedic tone. 

Process

Set Design: we designed a luxurious, contemporary art gallery setting that exuded sophistication. The space needed to be both visually striking and functional for the unfolding comedic events.

Color Palette and Lighting: we employed a sleek, modern color palette with strategic lighting to highlight the glasses and the actors, ensuring that the product remained the focal point amidst the chaos.

Collaboration: Working closely with the director and cinematographer, I ensured that every visual element—from the set design to the props—aligned with the comedic timing and storytelling.

Outcome

The commercial successfully balanced humor with product demonstration, effectively highlighting the smart glasses’ features in a memorable setting. The visually engaging environment I created played a crucial role in delivering the ad’s message and enhancing its appeal during the Super Bowl broadcast.
