Scope
Chrome Hearts brought me on to lead production and creative for their Halloween “Deadly Doll Ball,” a high-fashion horror event that needed to feel unmistakably Chrome Hearts. My role covered concept development, design, fabrication oversight, and full on-site execution across multiple custom installations, each blending the brand’s signature metalwork aesthetic with theatrical, immersive storytelling.
Process
The project began with world-building. I pitched concepts and references to define each zone: a chrome spiderweb entry, a dripping metal DJ booth, a sculptural cemetery, and a series of smaller atmospheric vignettes. Once the creative direction locked, I sourced specialty fabricators, built production timelines, and managed feasibility, materials, and technical needs to ensure everything could be executed at scale.
Solution
The final experience delivered a fully immersive Chrome Hearts world: part gothic fantasy, part luxury runway energy. The chrome spiderweb greeted guests as a dramatic first impression. The dripping DJ booth became the hero focal point of the night. The custom graveyard installation tied the entire environment together with sculptural detail, lighting, fog, and layered textures that carried the narrative from room to room.
